Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about TuneIQ plans, credits, and how our analysis works.
- What are credits and how do they work?
- Credits are the currency you use to process tune files through our AI analysis engine. Each tune analysis costs 1 credit. Credits are granted monthly based on your plan and do not roll over to the next billing cycle. If you need additional credits, you can purchase them as one-time add-ons.
- What tune file formats do you support?
- TuneIQ currently supports HP Tuners, EFILive, and Cobb Accessport file formats. We are actively working on adding support for additional platforms. Upload your tune file and our system will automatically detect the format.
- How does the AI tune analysis work?
- When you upload a tune file, our AI engine parses every calibration table, compares values against known-safe baselines for your vehicle platform, and produces detailed recommendations. You can also upload datalogs for cross-referencing to validate fueling, timing, and boost targets under real driving conditions.
- Is my tune data safe and private?
- Absolutely. All uploaded files are encrypted in transit and at rest. Your tune files and analysis results are private to your account and are never shared with other users or used to train models on identifiable data. You can delete your files at any time.
- Can I reprocess a tune after making changes?
- Yes. All plans include the ability to reprocess previously uploaded tunes. If you revise a calibration based on our recommendations, upload the new version and run analysis again. Each reprocess costs 1 credit.
- What does priority processing queue mean?
- Pro and Shop plans include priority queue access, which means your tune analyses are processed ahead of free-tier and Enthusiast-tier jobs. During peak usage this can significantly reduce wait times.
- How does multi-seat access work on the Shop plan?
- The Shop plan supports up to 10 team members under a single organization. The organization owner can invite members, assign roles, and manage shared vehicle profiles and tune history. All seats share the monthly credit pool.
- Can I change plans or cancel anytime?
- Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. There are no long-term contracts or cancellation fees.
